Biography: Sean Bulson, London based photographer and sociologist - represented by Arcangel Images. Graduating with an MA in Social & Political Thought from Warwick University, Sean learnt from assisting professional photographers and from taking a series of photographic courses - all passed with distinction - at Kensington & Chelsea College (2000-2003). He recently exhibited “Images of Tate Modern” at the PowerStation Gallery, London. He has also exhibited at several college photography shows and other group exhibitions. His work [light structures] was published in the British Journal of Photography's prestigious Endframe portfolio.

Statement: Sean uses varying degrees of abstraction (and digital manipulation) to achieve a strong formal and graphic image. Working within the modernist tradition - influences include Bernd & Hilla Becher, Lewis Baltz and Andreas Gursky - his photography combines sociological references, with a coherent and often idealistic approach.
