"I believe in the idea that you should adopt your local patch, explore it and become intimate with it." Joe Cornish HonFRPS

Welcome to the Glasshouse19 Gallery. Created by Sean Bulson LRPS, the Glasshouse19 website presents contemporary photographs of Crystal Palace and London, plus links to other photographers and their work. Sean has photographed Crystal Palace since 1999; orginally for a college photography project, but more recently (and regularly) since the birth of his son - Henri Bulson - in 2006. The images reflect the photogenic nature of SE19: the park, the views over London, traces of the past and a potentially exciting future unfolding. Sean's photographs (and exhibition) have featured in several issues of Living South magazine.

the photographers
Sean Bulson learnt the art of photography from assisting professional photographers, and studying photography at South Thames College (1999-01) and Kensington & Chelsea College (2000-03). All these vocational courses were passed with distinction, including a landscape project based on Crystal Palace Park. His work has been featured in the British Journal of Photography and he is represented by Arcangel Images (specialists in creative rights-protected imagery). Sean is a licensed member of the Royal Photographic Society and London Photographic Association.

Craig Richardson is an accomplished freelance photographer, specialising in events, promotional shoots and social photography. To see more of Craig’s striking images of Crystal Palace, click here to visit his flickr pages.

Mark Sutton is a keen amateur photographer, who since his early teens has enjoyed observing the world through a lens. His London-themed photos can be found at his Flickr site.
